Service Terms & Return Policy

Welcome to www.bayareaappliances.io (the “Site”). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by the following Service Terms & Return Policy (the “Terms”). These Terms govern your purchase, delivery, installation, and service experience with us. If you do not agree to these Terms in full, we kindly ask that you refrain from using the Site or placing an order.
Please note that certain products or services may be subject to additional terms and conditions. In such cases, those specific terms will be clearly communicated to you at the time of purchase or service scheduling.
Delivery & Installation
Standard delivery includes placing the appliance in the designated area and performing basic installation when applicable.
Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate measurements of entryways, hallways, stairs, and installation spaces prior to purchase.
If delivery or installation cannot be completed due to access or size issues, customers may:
Accept the product as-is and make necessary site modifications at their own expense.
Request a return, subject to:
25% restocking fee.
Non-refundable delivery/installation fees.
Additional rescheduling/pickup charges.
Installation may be declined if improper or outdated connections, venting, or fittings are present; a service trip fee may apply.
We do not cut or modify stone countertops. Customers must arrange such work in advance.
We are not liable for changes to cabinetry, plumbing, electrical systems, or structures.
Additional modifications must be quoted and approved in advance. We are not responsible for property damage resulting from such modifications.
Removal of Old Appliances
Appliance removal is available for an added fee unless otherwise stated.
Old appliances must be disconnected, emptied, and free of hazardous materials before our arrival.
We are not liable for leaks or damage resulting from disconnection.
Separate removal appointments incur additional charges.
Removed appliances cannot be returned.
Open Box Appliances – Condition & Return Policy
All products are sold as-is and may show cosmetic wear or missing accessories.
Customers are encouraged to inspect items before purchase or delivery.
Returns may be accepted only if:
The item is unused and uninstalled.
The return is requested within 7 days of delivery or pickup.
The item is in original condition.
A 25% restocking fee applies.
Delivery/installation fees are non-refundable.
Customer covers return transport unless otherwise agreed.
Warranty, if available, is through the manufacturer and must be verified by the customer.
Damages & Limitations
We will address any damage caused by our installers to the home (e.g., floors or walls).
We are not liable for damage to stone countertops.
All products must be inspected upon delivery. Damage must be reported before installation begins.
We are not liable for damage due to misuse, alterations, power issues, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing.
Returns/exchanges of new, unopened, unused, in-stock items may be approved within 30 days with a 25% restocking fee.
Special-order items are non-returnable.
Installed or used products are not eligible for return.
Open Box or Clearance items are non-returnable.
Warranty & Service
New products include standard manufacturer warranties. Additional coverage may be available.
We do not provide warranty service or repairs. Customers must contact the manufacturer.
Clearance/Open Box items may have limited or no warranty.
Seller-provided warranty for Open Box items is limited to 45 days and covers functional defects only.
Scheduling & Cancellations
Delivery and installation must be scheduled in advance.
Cancellations or changes are free if made at least 48 hours in advance.
Missed appointments or unprepared sites will incur a fee.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required before delivery.
Additional charges may apply for modifications, re-delivery, or complications.
Payment disputes or chargebacks must be addressed with our team.
Liability Limitations
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages, including loss of use or income.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service.
